As part of both Strategic Communications & Creative at Peel Regional Police — Canada’s third-largest municipal police service, I managed social media and digital communication initiatives that improve clarity, consistency, and public engagement across diverse communities.

  • Analyzed content performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions) across social channels to identify top-performing content themes, driving audience growth (60K → 90K)

Role: Creative Director, Special Event Manager
Client: Downtown Yonge BIA & Sankofa Square (2026), Korea Town BIA (2025)

Partnered with Downtown Yonge BIA to design and host an activation for ILLUMINITE light installation festival. The goal was to bring creatives to explore the installations while generating organic social media content.

Key Contributions

  • Planned and hosted guided photowalks across five art installations in downtown Toronto.

  • Created a experiential activities to encourage creative storytelling and social sharing.

  • Designed event logistics, route planning, and on-site hosting.

  • Worked with Downtown Yonge BIA, Sankofa Square and Aden Camera to provide creator cash awards and incentives.

Impact

  • 150 registrations (sold out in 24 hours)

  • 100 creators attended the event.

  • Generated multiple social media posts showcasing the installations and promoting the festival.
